Hilary Duff’s upcoming movie, Greta, has been reviewed by the Motion Picture Classification and Rating Program and has received the rating of “PG-13″, which means some material may be inappropriate for children under 13, but they are not restricted from entering the movie without a parent or guardian.

About “Greta”
Hilary Duff stars as Greta, a 17-year-old girl struggling with feelings of suicide. Pushed aside by her mother Karen, Greta goes off to her grandparents (Ellen Burstyn, Michael Murphy) in Ocean Grove for the summer… against her will. She makes it known that she wants to kill herself during the summer, and compiles a book of suicide methods. It’s not until Greta falls for the short-order cook (Evan Ross) at the diner where she works, and realizes that people care for her fate, that things change.

Don't forget the rating's over in America are different than here in Australia.
I remember once for some reason we had a U.S newspaper and a rating for a movie there was MA here it was M.
So it just depends..it may stay the same here or go to M.

So that would mean in America people only have to be 13 to see it without an adult but her it would be 15? weird.

I don't think it would be as good if it was only PG, like it seems like an intense deep film...

A user from IMDb posted seemingly accurate information about Greta along with its premiere. The information remains a rumor.

The movie is rumored to premiere on November 27 this year with a limited run. The film is also reported to have international rights, particularly with Australia, which is already licensed for a theatrical run.
