Hilary Duff flew to the city of Bogota in Colombia where she was greeted by the Mayor, Samuel Moreno. Hilary Duff was named youth ambassador for Bogota for her work with Blessings in a Backpack, a program now to be available in the city. Hilary will spend the weekend visiting schoolchildren and participating in cultural activities.

A journalist in Bogota, Jamie Rodriguez, has been tweeting Hilary’s reception by the mayor and her presentation with the Key to the City.

That's alright. There more to come. When she does her next visit some where in Bogota.

I'm just glad she enjoyed her first day in Bogota. I'm certainly honoured to have been given a chance to part of her trip, as the members of her site got given an opportunity to write letters to the Mayor, the kids and to Hilary to say thanks and give support. Apparently, Haylie and Susan read the letters and was pleased with what everyone sent in.

I can't wait to see more pictures.
