Ashley is starring in Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure, this is a so called Spin Off from High School Musical,

The film marks Sharpay Evans life after her graduation trying a role in a Broadway show.

A bit about the movie

Ashley Tisdale reprises her role as Sharpay in this new spin-off movie, but even more interesting, she is also an executive producer. In the movie, Sharpay is discovered by a talent scout while performing with her dog Boi at a charity gala. He offers her the chance of a lifetime, but when she gets to New York, her anticipated rise to stardom isn't what she expected it would be. With Sharpay as the main character, the story is sure to be dramatic, and HSM fans will likely be very pleased to get another chapter in the story of the fabulous Sharpay.

I'm excited for this. I really think the whole HSM franchise is over but I think this is going to be a completely new thing.

Even though Sharpay was supposed to stay in New Mexico and help out in the East High Drama department haha. Smile

Sharpay was always the stand out character. I couldn't give a stuff about the other characters... (excluding Ryan)
